Denver East Alumnus Adrian “AJ” Harper will be joining the Men’s Lacrosse program at Averett University in Virginia as a Graduate Assistant coach. He will be pursuing his MBA while coaching the NCAA DIII Cougars. 

AJ was a two year Varsity letterman with Denver East, graduating in 2015. He played NCAA DIII lacrosse four years for Huntingdon College in Alabama. While at Huntingdon, AJ helped lead the Hawks to a USA South Championship his junior year, and their second straight USA South Athletic Conference regular-season title his senior year. AJ was recognized as a First Team All-Conference player in 2019.
