Wyatt Johnson announces verbal commitment to St. John’s University

Senior Wyatt Johnson announced on Monday his verbal commitment to play NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse at St. John’s University. Wyatt started with Denver East Lacrosse as a Varsity freshman and was made captain his junior year. As a freshman, Wyatt ended the season fourth in total points, and as a sophomore he moved up to third in total points. His junior year saw him sidelined for over half the season with an injury; playing only seven games he had a tied fifth most goals for the season. 

St. John’s University is located in Queens, NYC, NY. The team is in the NCAA Big East Conference and has been coached the last 13 years by Jason Miller. The Red Storm consistently boasts members of the NCAA All Academic Team. The program was created in 1981 and plays its home games at DaSilva Memorial Field.
