Sophomore Evan Stockton named Pinnacle Player who Shined

Sophomore Evan Stockton was named one of Pinnacle Lacrosse Championships Players That Shined for his play at the championships, November 21-22, 2020. Prior to the tournament, Stockton was named a Player to Watch for the series by US Club Lacrosse. “The Denver native…was a menace on Defense, picking off passes and being active in the clearing game. He showed poise and awareness off ball…Although he played close, he could fit in as more of a hybrid on the defensive end.”

This year’s invitational event featured some of the nation’s top 2023 teams. Stockton participated on the West Coast Starz National team with fellow Sophomore Angel, Robert Grawemeyer. WCS went 5-0 for the series win. Stockton was a Varsity freshman starter whose inaugural year was cut short by the pandemic. Grawemeyer joins Denver East this season as a transfer from Kent Denver.

The Pinnacle Lacrosse Championships are highly competitive events featuring the top club lacrosse programs in the country. The Pinnacle Lacrosse Championships welcomed college coaches from D1 schools across the country with US Club Lax providing media coverage and rankings.
