Senior Andrew Tan announced on Wednesday his verbal commitment to play NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse at UMass Lowell. Andrew started with Denver East Lacrosse as a Varsity freshman. As a freshman, Andrew ended the season fourth in overall points and with a 61% shot percentage – the highest on the team. As a sophomore, Andrew led the team in assists with 21 for the season.
UMass Lowell is public research university located in Lowell, Massachusetts. The team is in the NCAA America East Conference and has been coached the last 7 years by Ed Stephenson. The River Hawks consistently boast members honored by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) on the Academic All-New England team. The program plays its home games at the Cushing Field Complex.
