The East Angels compete in the 5A South Suburban conference, which includes the following teams:

Our fall kickoff meeting happens in early November. It is extremely important that both players and parents attend this meeting if you are planning on playing in the spring. We will be going over a LOT of information, including policies, volunteer jobs, ordering equipment, winter training, fees etc. Please plan to attend this meeting even if you are not 100% sure that you will be playing in the spring.

Formal practices with coaches typically begin in late February. However, dependent on availability of indoor field space, there will generally be multiple captains practices from August through January.

Practices during Spring season are held daily on the Denver East turf field and/or City Park. Off season conditioning and training may be held at other venues one to four times per week.

Yes. Denver East Lacrosse participates in the Denver Lacrosse Club’s fall ball league which runs from early September through mid-October.

All events and activities for the Boys High School teams (Freshman, JV or Varsity) are posted to our website calendar. A community email is sent regularly during the school year. In addition, we utilize multiple social media platforms to inform our lacrosse families of activities. Once the season’s registration process is completed email and text communications will also be rolled out to players. To sign up for the community email, please click here!

While we do not “require” families to volunteer, we do ask that they volunteer for at least (one) volunteer shift during the season. There are many opportunities available including field set up/tear down, announcing, score keeping, penalty timer, concessions, photography, year end banquet, senior night, etc. Please contact us using the Contact page on the website if you’d like to volunteer or if you’d like guidance on how you can help!
