East High Lacrosse is operated by a registered 501c3 non profit organization, THE FRIENDS OF THE EAST-MANUAL LACROSSE CLUB INC (84-1444463); whose mission is  to encourage student-athletes who wish to play for the East High School Lacrosse team, including students from Manual High School and other high schools, doing so by providing awards and financial assistance to students who can’t afford fees or equipment, by supplying good coaching, transportation, equipment, and competition for the team, by educating inner-city youth in Denver about the game of lacrosse, and by promoting lacrosse as a way to build sportsmanship and character alongside academics.
